New Project has audio sync problems

This is only my 3rd project. First two went fine, no drop frames and audio was synced.
This time the audio gos out of sync within 1 minute. It's the same source, and I haven't changed anything to my computer.
First two I used VideoStudio Trial to capture from my ATI AIW card. The only difference is that now it's the full version of VideoStudio. Settings are the same as before.

Any idea what could cause such a drastic change?

Help please

I tried un-installing the drivers/card.
Defrag
Disable any hardware software that i don't need.
Restored the PC to a time when it worked.

It still doesn't work like it did the first 2 times.
I am so lost
Since nothing has changed on my system, it's gotta be something I am doing wrong?
If it helps, the picture look weird, there's like a grid every other row of pixels...
