  1. i have a samsumg 811 dvd, plays vcd an svcd, but no xvcd or xsvcd.

    exists a trick -like de vcd trick- to play XSVCD ??? ( except the firmware upgrade)

    on the compatibility chart it says your player can play those formats.
    His name was MackemX

  3. yeah man, but mine doesn´t play it. Maybe the model in my conuntry, CHILE, is not the same as in other parts of the world.

    So, does anyone knows a trcki for playing XSVCDs???

    you probably burned the files wrong. try burning in nero burning rom. just burn xvcd as non standard vcd and xsvcd as non standard svcd. if you burn them as vcd or svcd they might not work.

    Unchecking the "create standard compliant cd " box ??

    cause i've already do that, and still doesn't work

    hmm well there might be another reason. do you use TMPGEnc. cause if you do on the bottom put settings and then go to the system tab and put MPEG 1 Video CD Non Standard. or if its an svcd just normal Super Video CD VBR.
