    Ok I have tried uninstalling the installing again all codecs NOT ALL BUT JUST DIVX and then the divx file plays
    but with nothing it is either GREEN or really messed up. I have that and XVID am i installing something wrong please help me guy i need help with the codecs...

    There is more than one divx codec. Go to the tools section of this page and download either avicodec or gspot. Load your film into one of them and it will tell you what codec is needed for your film and if you have it installed on your computer. If not, you can get it from the tools section here, or over at www.digital-digest.com.
