    Hi can anybody help.
    My son has an optical mouse on his pc,ive just noticed that even when the pc is not on the mouse still lights up when moved.Is this normal?.The pc is still plugged in the wall with the power on but the pc is not actually running.Should this be happening and where is it getting the power from?

    i have a cordless one and the light stays on 24 hours. it only goes off when the batterys go dead.

    No sorry its not a wireless one so surely there should be no power to light up the mouse?
