  1. What is the process to down mix a 5.1 file to a Pro-Logic stereo file? I'm assuming that both of the surround channels are combined, so some information will be lost, but how can i down mix all of this into a 2 channel stereo file that supports Pro-Logic decoding?

    Thanks.

  2. Besweet will take a 5.1 channel .AC3 file and downmix to a Pro-logic (Dolby Surround) .MP2 audio file. Lots of settings to learn though.

    Find it here :http://dspguru.doom9.net/

You will need Besweet 1.4 + The GUI.

  3. HeadAc3he will also take your 5.1 Ac3 file and convert it to the stereo format of your choice (Uncompressed PCM, Mp2, Mp3 etc).

Any time you convert a 5.1 to stereo, most if not all of the pro-logic info should be preserved, using too low a bitrate can lose some of this encoding though.
