if you're talking about copying from your dvd-rom drive to your burner, in theory you can do it, in practice most people I've heard about get problems with keeping the buffer full, and end up burning a lot of coasters and wasting a lot more time than if they'd just rip the disc again.

If you've already ripped and backed up a copy, you can use DVD Decrypter, rip to an ISO & be ready to burn in less than 15 minutes, if you've got a decent dvd-rom drive.

best way to know if it'll work on your system is to try it, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work very well...

Copying a DVDR (from the DVDROM to the DVD recorder) is the same like copying a CD. You can copy on the fly if the DVD-ROM is fast enough and the recording speed is not too high.

If you don't really trust the performance of the DVD-ROM then you can set Nero to make a temp file on disk. Then you are safe.

However, any modern system (P3/1000MHz and above) with a decent DVD ROM drive should not have any problems. If your DVD ROM can rip at acceptable speeds then you should not have problems.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
