I have Pioneer DVR-A03 writer since 2002, already I recorded diverse DVD-R's at 2x (medias Pioneer, Princo, Verbatim and Optodisc), never I had problems and all had played well with the marks of DVD's here in Brazil, with exception of the LG that almost canīt read or stops. But my question is not about the DVD-R, wich works great, is about CDR writing, therefore since that I started use this writer I always have to burn at 4x, when try using 8x (the speed that this have to support) it loses the writing... Already I tested diverse medias: Maxell, TDK, Imation, Princo and the cheaper ones without mark, already tried to use Primo DVD (Prassi) and Nero. Finally, I update the Firmware version 1.80 to :!: 2.00, but it did not solve. Please, somebody has some tip? I do not support more to wait the time that leads recording in 4x...
