  2. Would help if you mentioned what capture card you're using.
MMC 8.x for ATI Capture cards can capture interlaced MPEG2 on the fly.

    Hi
If you'd clicked on my profile you'd have seen my capture card
That's what the profile is there for. To save you writing your pc specs every time you post.!!

I have plenty of mpeg2 capture software. What I am looking for is one that captures interlaced.

You probably allready can capture interlaced, since most capture programs can do it.

Think I'm missing the point here???

    I wasn't putting anyone down!!
I was simply pointing out my profile.
How was my comment any different from the posters ......
"Would help if you mentioned what capture card you're using" ??

    Anyway back to the point.

You say most capture programs do it.
    which ones???
I've been searching the net for answers all day none forthcoming.
I've been told PowerVCR and WinDVR capture de-interlaced so that's the main two out of the way.

    Can anyone help??

    Cheers

  6. I think it was the tone of the post, fozee, that Amontillado was referring. Could have been construde as a little snide.

Since you took the time to respond to the poster, wouldn't it have been better just to tell him you have an Aver TV card?
