    I am ultra new and I have been reading all of the post. I have a few svcd's that I want to make into dvd's, could someone please get me started

    Always get started reading the Newbie Guides. Now to your problem. You want to convert SVCD MPEG to DVD MPEG: Click here. Now, after your conversion is done, check the Authoring section on how to burn to DVD. Hope this helps!
