Hello,
I'm confused.
Many on this forum have suggested using something like Toolame or ssrc.exe to encode to MP2 audio, for TMPGEnc's conversion formula for audio is not the best.
I've read on how to use the external tools inside of TMPGEnc in order to access these programs. My question is:
When you convert AVI to MPEG 2 using TMPGEnc, I'm familiar with loading the source AVI video file and an audio file I've since converted to WAV to let TMPGEnc start converting. If you're using an alternate program to encode the audio, how do you do it? Do you simply load only a video file for the MPEG 2 conversion, then convert the audio separately using the other program, then re-combine them? Or is there a way to tell TMPGEnc to use itself to code the video and another program to encode the audio?
Thanks,
Brian
