I noticed someone at a market had 3 films on one DVD, I use DVD+R, can this be done? I used a program already installed on my machine called My DVD, and if i make 3 VCD or SVD (all within 4.7gb) the disc is ful after only putting in 2 films.

    Also

A friend put a film on a disc for me and asked me to back it up as a DVD - but DVD software doesn't reconize it and i cant find anything that will convert it to avi, it plays on windows media player but not on anything else
If anyone can help then get back to me asap

  2. You can put quite a lot on a DVD - technically, but after about 3 - 3 1/2 hours worth of video, the bitrate starts dropping pretty low and you'll probably not be happy with the quality. So, yes, it is possible. I try not to go more than the 3 - 3 1/2 hour limit.

For your other question, we'll need to know a little more about it, like what format it is in etc.
