Hello everyone,
I'm NEW to dvd authoring so please excuse my ignorance on the subject. I have ripped 17 songs from several karaoke dvd disks. I used vobedit to join all the vob files and infoedit to create ifo and bup files. Essentially, I have a customized dvd karaoke disc on my HDD. I want to do two things.
1. I would like to create an intro movie. It doesn't have to be fancy. It can just be a still image like the "archival backup dvd warning" from dvdxcopy. Please, if you can, provide the instructions clearly so I can be able to create the movie.
2. I also would like to create a menu for the 17 chapters from just these vob files. I've read that tmpeg dvd author can do this as well as dvd-lab. Can someone confirm this and please provide instructions with either software?
Thank you in advance!!!
I've searched the net and this forum for days but couldn't find any detailed guides related to my problem.

what software will you be using?
almost any software should be able to insert a timed still or an intro movie before your main menu and program material - but the instructions on "how to do it" will vary by application.
if you want to try DVD Lab, I can post instructions for you (although the Help File is pretty clear on it).- housepig
