i am trying to put my avi file into a dvd using Ulead DVD MovieFactory. somehow, it take 2 day or 48 hour (too long) to complete a movie. my friend say it is only take him about 5 or 6 hour to complete the convertion and put it into the dvd... anyway, i have a pentium 4 1.7 GH. 512 gram. but is seem that it is still runing really slow... does anyone have any sujection, or know anything that i have done wrong, please inform me... i'll be greatfull... thank... you...

That does seem long! Is your friend converting the same file? Can you try your AVI file on your friends system so see what happens?

if you can, i suggest you to use tmpgenc to convert your video, so movie factory will only build menus; it's fast and great quality.
if you can't, then i don't know why movie factory is so slow.
do you and your friend use the same settings? -
Hello all
I use both Ulead and TMPGEnc and find TMPGEnc the fastest but I have never had to encode any more than six hours with my old Athlon 1.4 g cpu
