    Okay so I want to rip a dvd, i know how to do that but then i want to convert it to vcd what is the best prog to use, i have tmpgenc and virtual dub will these do it?

    TMPGEnc for converting to mpeg1, then something like Nero or VCDeasy for authoring and burning.
