CCE error, what the hell is this??

When i am try to load a avi to encode in CCE sp or lite, i get a friggen error message that says
"According to the registry, the type of file specified in AVIFILEOpen does not have a handler to process it"

It means just what it says. Are you loading a DivX.avi or a "regular" one? What did you use to encode the .avi with and/or where did you get it from?

Keep in mind CCE ONLY uses complete system conform .avi files. Sounds to me like you've got some kind of "off spec" .avi file.

or is it a vfapi converted avi file which is being loaded into cce and its not taking? are you frameserving the avi or not?
