I'm testing different encoding techniques, trying to get 1 movie on 1 cd with acceptable quality. I have an mpeg2 vbr file 773mb in size. I need to do the header trick, but when I multiplex it with TMPGEnc, the file size baloons to 1.1gb. I have 2 questions:
1. What causes this? Does it have something to do with the vcd standard not supporting bit rates below a certain value?
2. Is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks,
Chris
