I've been "experimenting" with the various encoders lately. I am capturing footgae from two of our yearly events, the Halloween haunted house and the 4th of July fireworks. Alot of dark footage with flashing lights.I'm using Scenalyzer and the Pinnacle Studio Deluxe hardware to capture DV-AVI. Whenever I use Procoder to encode there is a jerkiness or strobing to any motion in the scenes. I have tried reversing the field order, even though I know it's supposed to be lower first. I've tried pulldown. I have no problem encoding with CCE, TMPG, or Main Concept. Am I missing something in the Procoder settings or what?
