how do i tell if i bought VCD or SVCD by looking at the files on disc ?

They will have different folders. A VCD will have this folders : EXT , MPEGAV , SEGMENT and VCD

A SVCD will have these folders : EXT , SEGMENT , MPEG2 and SVCD
