Have you experience of the videolan player?

Hi does any one have experience of videolan. I wounder would you dare to suggest that player for a mac user or a windows user? How does it play on linux?

I used it before. I use to use it all the time for DVD watching and it work okay but i've since changed to Mplayer/Xine to play dvd's because they play most other vidoe clips.
