PC Freezing with TMPGEnc

Hi
I've been using TMPGEnc for a long time now.
Only recently have I started to have problems.
I am using 2.58 plus (also tried 2.59).
The program develops errors during encoding and stops.
Also when the screensaver starts up after a while the PC freezes.!!
I checked my system temps (as its summer) after it crashes. They seem fine.

Anyone had a similar problem.
I even did a XP reinstall and still the problem persists.


Any ideas.

This may seems a stupid question but i'm trying to narrow down the issue.
Could a video card driver in any way cause these problems??
I have recently updated to the newer Detonator driver.
It was probably around the same time as i started having these problems.
Personally i can't see the link.
Also I now have Divx pro codec can codecs cause these problems??

This is happening with avi and mpg source files.
