I'm looking to buy a DVD player that can play PAL SVCDs and output at NTSC. The problem that i've read on here and other forums is that the conversion output has strange aspect ratios and cropping (I assume from the 576x480 PAL resolution vs. 480x480 NTSC). I guess my question is if there is a DVD player that plays PAL to NTSC but resizes the pic for proper aspect and frame?
A couple players im interested in are the Norcent DP300 and a couple Apex models but I don't know what the Pal->NTSC output looks like.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thanks
