    - i would like to cut them between songs (should i use vitualdub and cut from the master avi files?? or use Tmpgenc to cut the mpeg dvd files encoded???)
    - when i have mpeg files encoded for dvd pal (by tmpgenc)... what should use to make a DVD playable on my dvdplayer (without menus and with out re-encoded these files)?

I would suggest cutting the avi files, then encoding with TMPGenc. (although if you just want to trim the beginning and end of the file, you can set the Source Range in TMPGenc and disregard those parts while encoding).

Once you have your mpeg files, you can put them into an authoring program.

what's your problem with DVD Lab? If you don't want menus or chapters, DVD Lab is easy... just drag your movie in and set it to First Play....
