DVD-Lab adheres strictly to the DVD standards. it requires ALL audio to be in the same format. They ALL have to be either PCM or MP2 or AC3. You can't mix and match.

Other DVD Authoring programs try a quick conversion of audio while authoring. The results are mixed.

If you ensure the MPEGs you give DVD-Lab are uniform in format, the result is an excellent DVD.

Also, stay away from version 1.2.1 it has lots of bugs. Go with 1.15 or 1.2

Double clicking the file in the Assets window is the same as double clicking in Windows Explorer, it calls up whatever program you have set to play audio. It has nothing to do with DVD-Lab.

If DVD-Lab has no problems demuxing your clip, then set DVD-Lab not to demux. Then load the assets again and create the DVD that way.

No need to Demux and mux again....

You only do that when you are not sure about your assets being compatible.

When you start DVD-Lab, before you load any assets, click "Projects" - "Project Properties" - "Options".

Under "Non Elementary MPEGs" - You can change it to "Always Ask" (so you have a choice) or "Use without Demultiplexing".

If you click the "Advanced" tab, you will see where it mentions audio associations.

    Hope this helps.
