I have two hard drives and both are supposed to be capable of ATA/66 mode. I ran a program called HDTach and it showed the following results:
C: => 4,411.1kps
D: => 34,466.2kps
Now these results suggest to me that the C drive is not running in UDMA mode and that the D: is running in ATA/33. When I attempt to activate the UDMA mode on the C drive (check the DMA box under device manager) and reboot, the box is unchecked.
I would like to get these up to their full potential to eliminate the dropping of frames during capture. If anyone can suggest a way to fix this situation please post here or email me at: myster@mediaone.net
Thanks!
