I have an episode of Black Adder that has Windows Media Audio 2 for the sound. Virtual Dub does not support this so how can I convert this to Mpeg 3 so I can play this in my Elta 8882 Mpeg 4 player. : x

Have you got Windows Media Encoder installed? With that you might be able to output a format that Virtualdub will read. But you might have to do it in two steps, from Media Audio 2 to another Windows format and from there to Mp3
(By the way, my copy of Virtualdub lists Windows Media Audio 2 among its audio compression options, so I somehow picked up that codec somewhere along the way, but I cannot recall exactly where (Nimo's codec pac?). You might search some of the websites for that particular codec.) -
Try extracting the audio file out with Virtualdub using direct stream copy, then use a proggy called goldwave.
