  1. I can capture fine with 320x240 but the minute I capture I 640x480 I get these horizontal noise type lines. I'm using the BTwincap driver already and huffy compression.

everything is perfect at 320x240, but not sure why the noisy lines in 640x480, anyone else have this problem before or know how to fix it?

    Thanks

I usually just capture at 480 x 480 and encode to whatever I need from there when I use the WinTV GO.
    Hello.

  3. I have tried WinTV GO card on my two computers. The first computer is
Celeron 1G with non-intel motherboard and non-intel chipset. The captured
AVI is full of horizontal noises. The second computer is P4 2.4G with
intel motherboard and intel chipset. The AVI is clean and free of noise.
I read it somewhere that the problem is probably related to frushing of
    video buffers.

  4. Maybe I'll try to move the wintv card to another slot and give it a try. When I have the video in preview mode I don't see any lines when just watching but once I start to capture the lines show up whenever there is movement.

Movement seems to be the issue, on the still scenes there is no lines but once there is any movement the lines show up.

I have tried using a deinterlace filter to re-encode the file afterwards but the lines are still there. Any ideas?

  6. Thanks for the the tips, I'll give them a try, but I don't think it's interlacing. It seems to be only visible when I capture at 640x480 resolution and when there is motion. Here is a sample of a picture
