  1. Have been trying to decode a DivX Doctor created mov movie with mplayer for burning in subtitles but have not had any success. I get a lot of info in the terminal window, but no file (not even the temp files) seem to be created. If I use the Avi the usual decoding seem to preogress well, but the audio and video is out of sync and the aspect ratio is off. Can anyone help? Below is the terminal output for the mov conversion:

  2. Quicktime movies with dependancies can fail with mplayer as decoder. I would suggest to encode the AVI but select proper framerate and audio sampling rate matching the source movie.
