Ok, currently the only FOOLPROOF method I know of to do this is:
1. Rip the SVCD's to MPG.
2. Join up the MPG files in TMPGEnc's MPEG tools section.
3. Run TMPGEnc with the NTSC DVD template, slightly modified so that it'll be sure to make it FIT on a DVD-5.
4. Wait approximately double the length of the movie.
Now, I've been fiddling with Main Concept MPEG Encoder, but the output seems of substantially lesser quality in this case. There aren't many options at all in MCE, or am I missing something?
And... is there ANOTHER method that I'm not thinking of? Please don't say to use CCE, as I find the idea of writing scripts and then having them not work about 100 times until I discover CCE Zen to be horrifying at best. I'd rather have a root canal than use CCE in its current form.
