The built in OSX burning app with disk utiltiy.

you have to set your system preferences to make blank dvd action open finder, or whatever the option is that makes it mount the blank dvd.

Drag what you want into the dvd like its a folder, when you "eject" by dragging to the trash note how its now a burn icon.

    window will appear with instructions

    enjoy

My suggestion is next time you want to install a developer-release OS, don't overwrite your old OS's System Folder ... That way you can go back and forth between Jaguar and Panther (and OS 9 if you have that).

There are several apps that allow you to burn dvd's. Blaze is one of them. I dont use it because Toast always works. Like AntnyMD said, its HIGHLY recommended not to replace your system when testing a new one.

Any way's disk copy method will burn a dvd that you can play on a dvd player

    you have to
    1. Mount the blank dvd
    2. Drag your VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folder into the mounted DVD.
You can now even double click this dvd and verify that for sure these folders are in this DVD and that the VIDEO_TS folder contains all your .vob/.ifo/.bup files.
    3. Assuming its 4.4gb or less, drag it to the trash like you would eject it and you will get instructions on burnign the disk

If this doesnt work, the "preview" OSX must not be a full version and you should switch back to your Origional OS where Toast did work.
