He operates out of a warehouse unit and is always at swap meets (very friendly Asian couple).
Forgot to mention, I was in there the other day and noticed they had Shintaro 4X on the shelves. Sorry, but I didn't think to ask the price - was in a hurry.
The glass is neither half-full, nor half-empty.
It is simply twice as big as it needs to be.

Seems I had been lucky with my early experiences with the Sigma media.
They no longer import it due to problems they had had on returns. Bugger!

  3. I buyed 10 princo 10x! All burned successfull but 5 of them are choppy and freezing at the end of the media!

I will never buy princo media.

Now Im using very unespensive Magnex 1x media and im happy with it. no freeze or choppy, even in full media (4.38)

I used even imation 2x with no problem and of course the pioneer dvdr and dvd-rw that came with my a05 absolutely with no problem

at this stage the only media that give me problems (=coasters) are princo 4x and r-planet 1x

Have you tried Garribean Gardens on Sundays? The computer meet sells them $2.70 each (don't know the make)

I was at the swap meet today at collingwood and bought a 50 spindle of ritek G04 for $115

I bought a 10 pack of these 2 weeks ago and had 100% success rate with them.

Princo were cheap, less than $2 each but ive had problems with them.

    Ive got a DRU510A burner.

Hey I was at Collingwood also

I purchase all my DVD-R from Annie, not sure if you know her or not, but she only sells A Grade Princos. I am on my second spindal and still no problems with them at all. I just purchased Princo DVD-RW at $2.70 each.

    Cheers

Maybe we rubbed up agaisnt each other always busy at the swap meets.

I dont know who Annie is, when you walk into the hall does she have the stall on the right near the corner.

maybe i read your post wrong but do you buy spindles of DVD-RW's, just wonered why

$2.70 is a good price, better than the first DVD-RW I bought from JB HiFi for $9

Well we probably did rub into each other I know you tend to rub into everyone at collingwood.

When you walk through the main entrance, towards the right, I think in the row just before the last (Annies stall) (Yes towards the corner). She is around 45ish and Chinese. I had a bad run with CDR media once and ever since then I buy through her. I guess its kinda like Ink Jet cartridges.

    As far as your first RW DVD beat you . . . . I paid . . . . . $17.50 for my first one . . . It was a pioneer 2x

She is based in Box hill and you can purchase from her direct.

I guess its a small world

    Cheers

Sorry forgot to answer this in my previous post.

I am on my second spindal of Princo DVD-R media. This time round I picked up 11 Princo DVD-RW for data backup, raw home movie storage (prior to editing).

    Cheers
