  1. I just returned my RCA DRC212N Progressive Scan DVD Player because, (although it worked) some of the menu fetures were annyoing, it had no display on the front, and felt very cheap!! It played every DVD-R I made that played on my PC....

SO I exchanged it for a Panasonic F65 because it had more features (I also hated the RCA remote) a decent remote, 5 disc changer, etc....

Well this DVD player wouldn't play a single DVD I had burnt and used with the RCA. Using TMPG, Nero, DVD2ONE, DVDSHRINK etc..... Really annoying, my friend and I both bought the RCA, felt the same, and both bought then Panasonic. I've tested both of them and don't know what's up.

Anyway just thought I'd pass the ingo along..... and some links

If you can live without the 5 disc changer, the Panasonic S35 does it all. It plays everything I throw at it, burned from several different programs. IE: DVD Shrink, Nero, MY DVD, IC7, etc. Costs less than $90. and its progressive scan.

  3. I'm thinking of getting either the Panasonic S35 or the Panasonic F65. Other than the 5 disc support are they very different from one another? Do both support a wide range of media? I've heard good things about the S35 but like the idea of having 5 movies to choose from. If the F65 is just a S35 with a 5 disc changer i'll probably buy it.

    TIA
