Pioneer DVD-RW will not burn at 2X anymore

I am using the A05 burner, and burned my Pioneer 2X DVD-RWdisc fine the first tme at 2X , now it will only burn at 1X. Is there a reason why this is happenening? I use PrimoDVD and also RecordNow DX. I have also done a Full format, and still will only burn at 1X. I can burn my Verbatim DVD-R's at 2X no problem.

*maybe* the RW is approcahing it's end-of-life? Just a wild-guess though...

Hi Vizcaya, I am also having the same problem with my pioneer 2x RW media that came with my A05. Although I think the problem is Recordnow Max and not the media because when burned in Nero the disc burns 2x everytime. Although Recordnow max has only ever let me burn at 1x with this disc.
