  1. Well after every single video editing program in existance failed me, I turned to Ulead Videostudio 6.0. This is because it came with CapWizard in a package...they work good together.

I exported a 1 hour and 41 minute MPEG2 video file(3.59Gigs). AND IT TOOK 14 HOURS!!!!!! The file's video looks great. but it has NO SOUND!!!!! I am about to break down and cry....seriously here. Please help me, because ULEADS puny tech support isn't open on weekends....

Something about exporting an MPEG video, but I cannot make much out of what yo were trying to do after that. The gurus here are knowledgeable, but not clairvoyant (except maybe Tgpo, but that is another story). So please be a little more specific.

  3. Ok, Ill explain exactly what I was trying to do.

I got my video clips arranged the way I wanted them to be, i nthe storyboard. THEN! I simply clicked

finish >> create video file >> 5 MB's per second. Then all I did was I saved the file to my desktop.

The video file has the quality I would expect from 5 megs/second.
But it has no SOUND! I find it hard to believe that a video editing program, would not have the ability to give a video sound!!!

Im not very familiar with ULEAD VS 6.0, as it is not very good. However, my usual program, Adobe Premier 6.5, takes 3 days to export this particular file.........

Go back to your project and select each video select each segment on your story board. Make sure the gadget is NOT selected:

  5. Ok yea, mute wasn't the problem, but I got it to work. Now I have sound, but I still cannot get it to the Television. I called Ulead Videostudio and they said that there program isn't real good with the ADS USB instant DVD and thus, it is better to use capwiz...but of course, capwiz does't work either...

I have another post for that particular problem.
