  1. I'm fairly new to this, so bare with me.

I have been able to use dvd decrypter successully, and have been very happy with the results. (dvd5 > dvd5) But now i am attempting dvd9 to dvd5. I like decrypter's simplicity and straight forwardness, and i'm looking for ways to use decrypter to burn dvd9 > dvd5.

So here's what i have been attempting: Rip dvd9 with decrypter in FILE mode. Select all files except the ones i don't want. Use ifoedit to recreate ifo. Then use imgtools to create the iso file. Then go back to decrypter and burn iso file to dvd-r.

I've been sucessful with "main movie" only. But when i want to include the menus and extras, it fails to play on my standalone. (plays fine on PC) I figure i'm missing something, but i can't figure out what. (I think i'm messing up ifoedit)

Basically, i'm trying to put the main movie to one disc, then the menu/extras on another disc - but trying to find the simplest/most reliable way of doing so.

    Please advise.

  2. You'll have to play the movie from within the DVD player in IFOedit--hit play, make sure you let the movie play through everything until the movie begins--then hit 'exit'.. IFOedit will tell you which title sets you must keep in order to keep menus intact. See here:
