    It seems to be an upgrade related issue , though i am not sure which specific upgrade. After experiencing the same problem , I uninstalled my copy of (s)vcd2dvdmpg+ and then re-installed it , this time i didnt do the update from 1.0.1230.10831 . It works fine now without that " dir does not exist " error. Seems that when I did the upgrade I was at version 1.0.1271.35733 when i had that error come up .

    Hi,
    I installed the program via download. I unpacked the zip-file and startet the msi-installer. Then I installed besweet. With the first run of SVCD2DVD+ the program made an auto-update. Now itīs build 1.0.1271.35733. I just removed the program and made an new installation. But I canīt install without the auto-update (the program wonīt start without), so the error is still present.
    Thanks

    Are you saying that if you just start the application from the Start menu it doesn't launch - you get a "Directory doesn't exist" error dialog? Or are you saying that after you launch it and browse to a folder for your source, you get the error when you press start in the application? Have you tried right clicking on the folder to start the program?

    BTW: I just found a bug myself (it will be fixed in the next update). Starting SVCD2DVD on a folder which contains a hyphen "-" causes this issue ("Directory doesn't exist"). To workaround rename the folder so that it has no hyphens.
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
