Help! My original is scratched and my only backup of a foriegn movie has horrid green blocky letters for subtitles. I did it with DVD decrypter (movie only) and IFOEdit to create new IFOs. My original is toasted but I do have a sequel to the same film that is from the same movie house. I am hoping to copy the subtitle colors from the sequel to a ripped copy of my backup. [? ]

I read through a few of the archives and found someone who mentioned using IFOedit. I can NOT find the "drop down menu" that has a selection for copy PGC colors. I have the latest copy from the developers site, .95. Am I lame or using the wrong program to do this.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. This is my only backup and I mustve failed to play it through to see if everything was OK. I need to get those damn green letters fixed! Thanks

  3. - start IfoEdit

    - press 'Open' and select the path to the ORIGINAL IFO file

    - press 'Open' and select the path to new generated IFO file 'VTS_01_1.IFO'

    - mark in the upper window of IfoEdit the ORIGINAL IFO and select under 'VTS_PGCITI' the PGC

    - menu 'Subtitle Color' -> 'Copy Colors from this PGC'

    - mark in the upper window of IfoEdit the new generated file 'VTS_01_0.IFO' and select under 'VTS_PGCITI' the 'PGC 1'

    - menu 'Subtitle Color' -> 'Paste Colors to this PGC'

    - press 'Save' to save the new ifo

    - close IfoEdit

In IFOEdit I only have three menu options: [/u]Tools, VOB Extras, or Movie Only. None of the three have the option to copy anything.

I swear, I am not a lame-brain. I do MS Access dBs at work, this can't be that hard. I think I must have the wrong version or something???.95? I can deal with the copy & paste but I dont have the menu selections. Whats wrong?

Thanks NY for the patience. I downloaded another copy and this one has the menu option.

The icons look exactly the same so I mustve got em confused. Thanks again.
