Virtualdub gurus - help - how to set up batch processing?

Hey all -

I know someone here can help - I've searched the Virtualdub forums and these forums, as well as the Virtualdub documentation, but I seem to be missing this info...

I have several video clips that are 720x480, and I want to resize them all to the same resolution. I know I can do this when I encode them to mpeg2 for my dvd, but I'd rather leave them as avi files for the time being, as I'm going to be compositing them together and making an intro movie for a dvd, and I don't want to encode, composite, then reencode.

Is there a way to set up a batch encode in Vdub, so I can just spend some time setting it up, then go to bed and let it chug away overnight?

If someone could walk me through the process, I'd appreciate it.

As I recall, the "save" dialog has a check box to add the file to a batch queue for later processing instead of running it right away. But I admit that it's been a while since I used VirtualDub for batch processing....

Sterno is right.... hit F7 to save each clip after you set it up...then make sure the little box in the left is checked...after you do all the setup for all your clips... press F4 and run the batch.
