    i have tried tmpgenc but that seems to put my audio out of sync because before i megerged the files i checked them and they were fine, after i mergered with tmpgenc they were out of sync so any ideas on another or how to get round this?

    Don't merge. You gain nothing by doing it.

    What exactly are you trying to merge and why?

    If its for (S)VCD the try bbmpeg, if its for DVD, let your authoring program do it for you, most should accept seperate audio and video input files.
