I've just installed the trial version of WinDVD Recorder and can't get it to recognize my ATI All-in-Wonder 7500 card. When I attempt to go into record mode it asks me to select the capture device and gives me a choice of DV Camcorder (which I don't have) or Logitech QuickCam Express. Why doesn't it recognize my video card? I've tried rebooting a number of times and this doesn't seem to accomplish anything. I've also reinstalled the software a couple of times. I have DVD Workshop, as well, and it recognizes the card with no problem. I can't seem to find any facility to get WinDVD to let me search for other devices. Anyone have any ideas? Would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks

Top left of player, to the right of the intervideo logo, should have an oval button that says DVD/TV. Click on it. Should open up window that lists optical drives as well as TV Tuner, Logitech camera or whatever else it detects. Mine shows TV, S-Video, Composite and of course my Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. I run a two tv tuner setup with the new ATI software, but before I upgraded, my bought version of WIN DVD Recorder worked fine with my ATI 9700 AIW Pro. Let me know your result.

Thanks for the reply. I'd already found that feature but when I click on it there appear to be three blank spaces between my Hard Drive selections and the QuickCam Express. I can click on these blank spaces but there is no result. Something weird I forgot to mention is that I had uninstalled and then reinstalled WinDVD Recorder. The first time it was installed it had worked just fine. I'm wondering if I should uninstall again, go into the registry to remove any references to WinDVD, and then try installing again. I can't think of anything else to try. I'll give it a try if I get the time tonight or tomorrow unless you have another suggestion.

That cured the problem. I have no idea what could have been in the registry that screwed it up but at least it's working now. Thanks for the input.
