  1. Here goes,

I used my Hauppauge PVR-250 to capture some of my favorite TV shows. I'm using nanocosmos (which Hauppauge recommends) to clip the commercials. Here's my problem, when I burn them to DVD the video/audio sync gets worse and worse after eached clipped segment i.e. after the first commercial break is clipped the video/audio sync "seems" fine, but it gets more and more off after each clipped break.

I did some research here and thought I could correct the problem using VirtualDub, but I get a "Packet Syncronization Error" when loading the file.

Now here's the kicker (at least in my mind), when I play the clipped episode(s) on my computer there is no video/audio sync issue. It's only when I play a burned DVD on my standalone. I've used Ulead's MovieFactory 2 (?), Ulead's VideoStudio 6.0, and Nero to burn. The Nero burn is in ISO compilation mode which doesn't sound right. Anywho...

Can someone here please point me in the right direction? At this point I'm just ready to get drunk and toss DVD-Rs out the window.

  2. My Nero burn just finished and it wouldn't play in my standalone.

BTW - I've "backed up" several DVDs without any problems using the hardware/software that I have.
