    I just got mine this week.

    I have only tested it with Ram discs so far but a program I recorded the other night does not seem to have chapters? If I press "skip" it just goes to the next program?

    I was under the impression that it did chapters every 5 mins automatically? Is that right?

    I can't see any mention of them in the manual? Did I miss it?

    I want to be able to chapter a DVD-R of camcorder footage. Can I do manual marks or will I have to split the tape up into parts?

    Any help appreciated

    It will make chapter marks on DVD-Rs only and that too after finalizing the disc. I believe you make your own memory marks on the DVD-Ram but I have not tried that.
