    i have a mpg file and want to convert it so i can import it into a flash animation

    anyone got any ideas on how i could do this ?

    First all, what formats does Flash support, like AVI?
    If so, you can import the MPG file into VirtualDub and save it as an AVI (only if the MPEG file is MPEG-1, and not MPEG-2). Find out what format it supports, if AVI doesn't work out for you.
