  1. Okay. I have over 4,000 images which I would like to be able to show as a slideshow a DVD-RW Disk on my DVD Player at home. I currently have these pictures organized by artist into seperate folders (which is 96 folders in all).

Is there a way I can have all of the images put onto the disk...

    and

to have each folder featuring a different artist converted into a chapter on the DVD Menu which can be easily accessed on the DVD Menu?....

    and

is there a way I can easily update the disk with new pictures.

There is a program called ProShow. I think you may have to purchase a license to get it fully functional.

Anyway, it allows you to import many images, add music, add transitions, and can even time out the length of each image to make the whole show run the length of the music.

    It's pretty good.

After you're done tweaking, it can save the slideshow in VCD or SVCD (MPEG) format. After that, you can burn it on a DVD.

    Hope this helps,

  3. If you use Ulead Pictureshow2, it has a feature called "batch collect" that will automatically set up your slideshows based on folders. Check it out on the "Tools" feature on the left of this website. It can do every thing you just asked.

Yes and while that's good in all, I was mostly disapointed with this program because.

1.) You couldn't edit all of the slideshows at once. I had to go to each slide show (which came to about 96 in all) and disable the transition effects (because they were causing about 20 GB worth of space) and to set "resize to full screen"

2.) When the DVD was finally created and you tried it out on your DVD Player, you could not switch between slideshows via using the << and >> buttons on your remote or the < and >. Also the menu interface wasn't very good.

Is there a program that could do all of this plus what I've mentioned above?
