Hi,
I have a question. I have a VCD that I made from mpeg files, and I want to copy this VCD for my friend. The problem is, I can't remember if this VCD was a Pal or a Ntsc VCD, because my DVDplayer doesn't have any problems playing both these types. Only my friend's DVDplayer can only play PAL. So is there a way to check if this VCD is Pal or NTSC?
Thanks

if you open the file w/ virtualdub it will tell you in the properties section.

It is PAL if the frame-rate is 25fps and the resolution is (for VCD) 352x288 or (for SVCD) 480x576 or (for DVD) 720x576.
It is NTSC if the frame-rate is 29.97fps and the resolution is (for VCD) 352x240 or (for SVCD) 480x480 or (for DVD) 720x480.
