I'm going to be off radar for 2 weeks, till around 13th July. (working away)

I'll browse the forum briefly now and then but I'll be over modem (first time in years) so it will be quite minimal.

In the mean time I know we can all count on the regulars on the forum to answer peoples questions etc.

Just to keep you up to date on my current work in progress I'm working on a totally new Menu application. It will work in harmony with SVCD2DVDMPG+. Features include the ability to add your own backgrounds, as many VTS/Buttons as you can fit on & in any location. Auto layout. Custom colours.

Here is the current screenshot after 1 days devleopment:



First previews should be out about one week after I come back.

Is it just me, or do the answers in the FAQ all come up blank for other people too? See, Javascript IS the devil's work...

The question I had was, I'm ripping files from, um, an undisclosed source, and my originals are the original elementary streams. Do I have to mux them together first to use them with this tool, or is there a way to get it to take them as they are?

FAQs are work in progress - not all are finished......

At the moment you would have to mutiplex your ESs first. A bit pointless I'll agree given that the first thing that will happen is for them to be demuxed.... but thats the way it is for the moment. Who knows what the future will bring

Something I've noticed, processing a lot of VCD files lately - they're coming up with no... oh bother this aphasia. Aspect ratio - the 4:3 thing. It's not set correctly in the header. I mention it because DVDPatcher will let you set that along with the usual stuff, so I thought that might be a feature that could be added to SVCD2DVDMPG+ as well. Not a big.
