  1. Hello,

    If I am encoding at 8.5 MBits/s, how many I, P and B pictures should I specify for best results?

    What about I=1, P=17 and B=0 for NTSC?

    Any advice would be very welcome.

    15 Length of GOP

    That's the standard IPB setup for NTSC MPEG DVD.
