    ive tried so many times ive used nero and eo video to encode from avi to vcd. i used avimedic and the avi file was perfect soon as i encode it gets lots of errors. i ran avimedic and it tells me the % of errors but cant fix it, why does this keep happening or is there a better encoding program out there.

    Ever heard of TMPGEnc, this is one of the best mpeg1 encoders available, and best of all it is free (for mpeg1). See the tools section.
