  1. Hi all,

Wondering what everyone is using to take jpeg pics and create a slideshow with a mp3 sound track. I would like to be able to do this and burn to a DVD-R. Last time I used adobe premeir and manually added every pic and transition, was really slow and tedious process.

My pics are also 5megapixels so they are like 2560x1920, so I would also need a program that would either rescale these pics automatically or accept this resolution. Unless there's another program out there that could do a bulk resolution change...

Is there a decent program out there where I can just say add 200 jpegs, select random transitions, add a few mp3 music files and specify the seconds between displaying pics. That would be awesome, thanks in advance

p.s. Also, is there a program you would recommend for vcd or scvd format (for parent who don't own DVD burner)

I assume you mean for a DVD player not on DVD player. I use Dazzle DVD Complete for this, a lot of others will do the same but it's my wife's stuff and it is fast and easy. Limited motion menus and back ground with custom audio in slide show and menus. A nice presentation and fairly automated.

Very simple to use, does exactly as you want - drag and drop pics and mp3, with timings for slides and transitions, output to VCD/SVCD/XSVCD/DVD/MPEG/MPEG2/EXE

there's a link on the homepage (yellow ad)
