  1. When I created a DVD through IFOedit, the play order of chapters got screwed up that the ending credits plays 1st and then the rest of the movie plays (in correct sequence). How do I use IFOedit make it play the 2nd chapter (start of the movie) and play the credits at the end?

Could someone point out for me a guide or website on how to read the IFO and bup files and how to edit them to change chapter play order.

    Thanks

    if it is vts_01_0

    that what it sounds like

either delete it or rename it in order after the last vob

  3. I wish it was so easy! unfortunately, each VOB file is not an individual chapter. There are 4 VOB files which consists of 9 chapters.

the credits are usually a small vob file

they usually seperate from the movie vob

  5. in my case, the last VOB includes a part of the last chapter of the movie and the credits.

if you could "re-rip" the dvd.... You could rip it so that each chapter had its own VOB with "smart ripper" then you could just rename your files... and use ifo edit

  8. I guess the easiest solution is to re-rip the movie w/ dvddecrypter.

but I am still curious in how this can be edited in the IFO file. Unfortunately I haven't come across a good detailed guide on ifo file structures and how to edit them. I think I need to rearrange the cell order. just not 100% sure on how to do it in ifoedit.

    there is a setting

in smartripper that will make each chapter a vob file

then u could rename that vob or delete it

    rip in movie mode

    in the settings tab

    on the movie part

in the file splitting section, check every chapter instead of the default max-filesize
