  1. Is there an easy way to add a moving graphic into a video using freeware tools or a functional demo program? I mean a graphic that moves smoothly along with a person like a black censor bar that covers something you shouldn't see. I already have VideoWave 5 and Pinnacle Studio 8 SE if I can use one of those. The video I am editing is DV and it will be going to DVD.

  2. It can be done with Studio 8. It's a bit of a low tech work around. See this page at the Pinnacle discussion forums.
    cheers!

  3. I think that page says I need Hollywood FX Pro. I only have the Hollywood FX 4.6 version that came with my Pinnacle Studio 8: Special Edition.

I guess it would work if I created the animation frame by frame using Paint Shop Pro Animation Shop and then converted it to a video file then used VideoWave 5's video mixing feature to put them together, but that would take a lot of trial and error. Is there another way? Is there a free animation program I can use that would let me drag the graphic along to create a path for it to follow?
